Foreword|

In order to help parents of new students understand the school's educational philosophy, their children's living and learning environment at school, and the future development of the school's department, Soochow University will hold parent seminars for boarding new students, as well as beginning and mid-term seminars for parents of all new students. We sincerely invite parents of new students to choose an appropriate session to participate.

The second seminar for parents of mid-term freshmen|

  • Freshmen leave home for the first time and move into the dormitory. In order to let parents know more about the dormitory hardware environment and software counseling, our center specially organizes a "Freshman Dormitory Parents Seminar" where the director of the accommodation center gives a briefing to help them understand the school's accommodation environment.

  • Registration time: August 1 (Tuesday) to September 1 (Friday) at 12:00 noon. Registration is online. Just fill in the online form to complete the registration.

  • Target audience: Parents of freshmen who live in the dormitory

  • Organizer: Student Affairs Office Student Accommodation Center

  • Event date: September 1 (Friday) 14:00~15:30 (check-in time is 13:30~14:00)

  • Activity location: 1F, First Teaching and Research Building, Waishuangxi Campus - Puren Hall

The second seminar for parents of mid-term freshmen|

  • In order to allow parents to have a more complete understanding of the school's educational philosophy, their children's campus life and learning content, and to listen to parents' specific expectations and suggestions for the school, we hold a "New Student Parents' Seminar at the Beginning of the Semester".

  • Registration period: August 1 (Tuesday) to August 24 (Thursday). Registration is online. Just fill in the online form to complete the registration.

  • Target audience: Parents of freshmen

  • Organizer: Moral Education Center, Student Affairs Office

  • Event date: September 2 (Saturday) 13:30~15:00 (check-in time is 13:00~13:30)

  • Activity location: Chuanxian Hall, Waishuangxi Campus (2nd floor, General Building)
