About the Plan|
The Soochow 1st Mile Freshman Orientation Series is a freshman orientation program organized by the Student Affairs Office. It aims to help new students adapt to and integrate into the campus and develop a sense of identity. Let us work together to create the best sparks through sweat and youth. The 1st Mile Freshman Orientation Series has entered its 17th year, and "1st Mile" has become a common memory of "Soochow people"!

Daytime freshmen must attend. For a detailed schedule, please refer to the activity schedule below. (Transfer freshmen or undergraduate students in advanced courses must register separately)

Event content |
Based on the content of the freshmen's diversified learning map, and considering the characteristics and mission of the school, with the goal of "understanding Soochow University, positioning oneself, diversified learning - creating π-type talents", we have planned courses and activities related to "diversified learning" and "participatory learning" in the 1st Mile series of activities to set goals for freshmen. The course participation method is based on coordination, elective courses, and class activities. We have planned a series of wonderful courses and activities.
